Run, now! Go! I know you're listening. I know you're fucking there. I hear the clicks between the voices on my dead receiver. I see your white van outside my fucking house. It doesn't end with me - we're all evaluated. You're so naive. You think you're in control. Don't you ever wonder how they know? Man, they see everywhere we go. Somewhere out there, you're jeering in your pyramid. Thick cigar clouds cover screens that show our precious lives, children and wives; teeth sharp like knives as they bite through the tip. *bleugh* They're behind the green cloud, charging synthetic lightning. I can't exist, now I know that it's all planned. We fucking own you. We control everything you do. Why do we believe the dreck that they feed us? No one believes me, but to me they are the ones who need to wake up. They just know not of what they speak. They're behind the green cloud charging synthetic lightning. I can't exist when I know that it's all planned. Why do we hide our feelings from each other? Why do we hide our meaning from ourselves? We let the blood from men that we call brothers. Why do we hide the bleeding from ourselves? Cameras in my back alley, cameras in my cell phone. Ripped the cords from the wall to make sure I'm completely alone.

God damn, you always act surprised. A set sun, bygone our starlit lives. We wipe the sleep salt from our eyes. Did we dream this scene our whole lives? Thirty-five or forty at the most. Hundreds of late 2000s angry teenage ghosts. This is not what I recognize. Utopia, we had our paradise; and yet we'll always keep this place in our hearts for the ones that stay. Familiar faces in the crowd are leaving - kicking and screaming of music's decay. We didn't know just what we had. We had it all in the palm of our hand. We let it slip through our fingers. You never realized. Remember when we'd make our strides at the center for some band that no one had heard of, but we all cared? We all cared! Shots fired. Slugs buried soul-deep. Rattled so hard that we, that we can't even keep thirty-five or forty at the most. Hundreds of late 2000s angry teenage ghosts. This scene is dead. My boys don't come through on tour, so I guess that it's done. This local shit just ain't up to snuff man. This scene is dead. We let it slip through our fingers. We had it all in the palm of our hand. We didn't know just what we had. You never realized.

Save me! It's too hot, and I'm sweating through my sense of pride that often keeps me cool. What can I say? I'm an easy reel. Give it all while taking nothing back. Do I lose all that I steal? Words make their way from misguided thoughts to a foul and flickering tongue. Oh, you stake these claims as if there's no one to ensnare you in your own deceit. One must first break the man to crumble his fortress, but lust is a cataract hiding in a flawed design, yes, lust is a cataract. I heard the bell ring and I lowered the bridge, seeing the flag of a friend flown by scoundrels and thieves. I have admitted these swine to my heart, and they've entertained me with jests of the mountains I've yet to surmount. Enslave me! It's too cold, and my teeth are ever chattering an unfamiliar tune. Not alone, as long as there's critique to push against the rotting mouths of the complacent and the spoiled. My fervor fades from misguided words to a comely, but cynical mind. Oh, I stake these claims as if there's no one to call me out at my failed integration. Top their glasses with bile. Force into them the filth that forced its way from me with a smile. I'm my own tapestry. Not alone, as long as there's critique to push against the rotting mouths of the complacent and the spoiled. This mouth won't rot. These teeth won't darken and fall away. This mouth won't rot until my voice taken away. Until my voice taken away.

You should be like me, but time is growing older - a distant memory of the past. Pick it up kid. Pick the job that never lasts. We've got to take it back - take it back! Unlock the door, and then you'll find me. So many places we've been hiding. All the time has been wasted. Feeling jaded and complacent. If I'm so brave, I don't see how. What if you could see me now? What if you could see me now?! Breathe in loss, and breathe out hope. I'm gonna need a wider scope: I'm gonna need a bigger boat; and I finally understand the things I wanted to say. The anger that I felt before is melting away. (It's melting away. It's melting away). Make me the bigger man, please, take me out of the game, yeah, make me a better plan, please, stake me a wiser claim. Father. You taught me how to be a man so I can finally stand up on your two shoulders. Father. Your words streak out like echoes and sparks that would lead the blind through the dark. How I've ridiculed; and I finally understand the things I've wanted to say. The anger that I felt before is melting away. (It's melting away. It's melting away). You should be like me, but you keep getting older. You can keep this memory if it lasts!

A foul smell can gain no favour, but what of a vile man. The beast is caged with expected change, but the same blood chills his veins. While the peaceful meddlers and the sweet-leaf peddlers rot behind key and lock those who pay for their place to stay keep the real monsters in a box. Open wide. There's more than plastic teeth and claws inside. Deceit that's older than our changing tides. Our human ties are fading into chem-trail skies. A prisoner until proven free. Lines are faintly marked in fives, etched into concrete blocks - lines that mark the stolen time - time lost to the system. Brass slugs stick them to a wall, and leer through iron bars. They fear that change is in the air when passing crimes are ancient scars. When beasts are caged and we are freed, we'll breathe in deep and plant the seed. A start for peace. An end to injustice. While the peaceful meddlers and the sweet-leaf peddlers rot behind key and lock those who pay for their place to stay keep the real monsters in a box. Open wide. There's more than plastic teeth and claws inside. We try our hardest not to act surprised when they lie and say we threaten their perfect lives; or keep it shut. Perpetuate that feeling in your gut that something isn't right, and you're no mutt!!! Your brain's not fried, but they trap your body alive inside!!!

Relentless lust - I'm beginning to decay. In greed I trust - suppose I'm losing my way. If the drinks are cold, I guess I'll be okay. Until I die I'm living every day. I'm holding a candle in the dark just to see my mind has fallen apart. My breath is turning into clouds. Trying to get my feet back on the ground. I've always felt mistreated by the changing of your seasons. You've always had me on the run. We shared our glimmer in the sun. Oh, pretty baby lay me to rest. Pour the brick and mortar inside my chest. Come home baby, it's cold outside. Hang up your coat and stay for a while. Fuck you, 'cause I'ma be on top (Kick your feet up by the fire) Fuck you, 'cause I'ma be on top! I'm holding a candle in the dark just to see my mind has fallen apart. My breath is turning into clouds. Trying to get my feet back on the ground. I've always felt mistreated by the changing of your seasons. You've always had me on the run. We shared our glimmer in the sun. We have fallen so far from what we are. We have fallen so far from what we once were. We've fallen so far! We have fallen so far from what we once were. We have fallen so far!
